Sorrelkit paced outside the nursery. She was officially six moons old. Any moment, she would be made an apprentice. But she wanted to be an apprentice now.

Fallenstar padded to Stonerock and lept on top of it. "Cats of IceClan old enought to catch thier own prey gather here for a clan meeting!" she yowled. Two apprentices were to be named today, Sorrelkit and Echokit. She would mentor Echokit and she wasn't sure about Sorrelkit.

Sorrelkit scampered over to where Fallenstar was. 'Is this it? Is this my apprentice ceremony?!?!' she wondered

Echokit sat in the middle of camp, watching Fallenstar silently. He knew it was time for his ceremony, and he really wasn't that excited. He finally could leave camp without having to sneak arround, but that was about the only difference it would make it the toms life, so he thought.

Fallenstar padded onto the edge of Stonerock, "Newleaf is almost here and with it is time for new apprentices. Sorrelkit, Echokit please come forward." she said with a flick of her tail.

Sorrelkit scampered forward excitedly. Her heart thudded happily in her chest. This is what she had been waiting for!!!

Echokit followed after Sorrelkit at a slower, calmer pace. he wasn't ask excited as the other kit, that much was obvious.
He wondered who his mentor would be, but that was about all the excitement he could give to this ceremony.

Sorrelkit looked at the other kit in disbelief. She had trouble imagining anyone not being ready to jump out of their skin in their positions.

Moonleaf's eyes were bright when she spoke, "Yes, Avianstar." While dipping her head a little. Her tail wrapped around her paws, happy to finally have an apprentice!
